At your service

I am a Dutch born resident of Belgium. I foremost consider myself a scientist-entrepreneur and spent almost a decade in Pennsylvania where I conducted my doctoral research in human development and services management, more specifically in loyalty and goodwill behaviors, which both are much more relevant than trust and empathy that take the main stage today.

I have always been fascinated by people who operationally make the fantastic happen in the moment for and with all around, and in teaching others that skill. Bring out the very best of people, situations and environments. Making each occasion truly memorable and valuable. And foremost make people fly both in their own eyes and in the eyes of the people around them. 

I am proud that I make no distinction between high educated people in managerial positions or fancy projects, and wonderful people whose daily work often is hard, draining and/or highly repetitive. People are what creates excitement and pride in both types of environments. I love both equally much. I keep directly connecting the top with the bottom, and represent both at the other end. 

 

No wonder that I scientifically specialized at somewhat later age in loyalty and relational metacognition: what people think they have with people and organizations, and based on that how they responsibly position themselves in the environment with and towards others and contribute to the success of people, the environment and the organization. How there are 1000 ways of loyalty even though organizations only consider three: buying more, coming back, and promoting.

 

I stepped aside from my tenured position in academic research and teaching in 2016 because I wanted to make more real world impact with my research findings on mass involvement and new interactional and conversational methods.

I would like to share with people like you my passion:

  • – for people, especially underdogs, growing much stronger much faster, and growing their sense and reality of co-ownership and co-leadership of their own performance and future and that of others around

  • – for the structure of people’s reality: adding the almost often missing dimensions of any problem analysis or proposed solution that really wishes to be a full and lasting solution. Which I see and can add because of my metacognitive completeness mind
